My Darkest Fear & My Most Treasured Blessing

Wallahi ( I swear by God), if there is one thing I’m afraid of in this world. It’s … how I’ve treated my parents. Despite their immense love, mercy, compassion, patience that amazes me, I’m arrogant enough to be rude to them, to raise my voice and talk back. I, who’s created from a disdained liquid.

Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing–(not even) mentioned? Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: so We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight. We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will). [Surah Al Insaan, 1-3]

Ya Rabb, forgive me, Ameen.

Ya Rabb, bless my parents immensely in this world and in the hereafter, Allahuma Ameen.
